The Role:

• Location: Public schools across Uzbekistan.
• Students: Ages 14–17.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English language lessons focused on improving communication and language skills.
• Course planning and lesson preparation.
• Classroom organisation and student assessment.
• Monitor and support student learning progress.
• Provide 2 training sessions per academic year for local teachers, sharing teaching methods and classroom best practice.
• Deliver extracurricular activities including:
  • English clubs
  • Tutoring sessions
  • English Corner activities
  • Cultural workshops
  • Thematic seminars

Workload:

• 20 teaching hours per week.
• 6 hours per week of extracurricular activities.

Support:

• A local assistant teacher in every classroom.

• Help settling into daily life in Uzbekistan.

• Support opening bank accounts and completing local administration.

• Ongoing in-country guidance and assistance.

• Visa and registration support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English Language  / TESOL OR BA (any subject) + CELTA / DELTA.
• Minimum 2 years’ full time teaching experience at secondary or high school level.
• 1st language English speakers preferred
• Clean criminal record.

Salary & Benefits:

• $2,000 – $3,500 (GBP2500) /month salary.
