The British Teaching Certificate is a Level 6, 15 credits programme, endorsed by UK based Ofqual recognised Awarding Body, AIM.

This programme is equivalent to the final year of an undergraduate degree. Grounded in Cognitive Load Theory (CLT), the UK Department for Education's preferred framework, the BTC gives practitioners a scientifically informed understanding of how students learn, translated directly into classroom practice across five sequenced modules.
