Teaching Placements

Internships are available in both private schools (Hagwons) and public schools:

Hagwon Placements

• 30–35 teaching hours per week
• Morning, afternoon, and evening classes
• Class sizes of 8–15 students

Public School Placements:

• 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Class sizes of 20–30 students
• South Korean teaching assistant provided

Placement may include more than one school

Requirements

• Hold a valid passport and a bachelor’s degree from South Africa, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
• Completed at least a 120-hour TEFL course (included with the internship)
• Fluent English speaker
• Age between 21 and 35
• No visible tattoos that cannot be covered
• Good health and vaccinated
• No criminal record
• Must travel alone (single status due to visa type)
