Teaching Placements

You will be placed in either private schools, public schools, or language schools.

Language Schools

• Teach young learners
• Afternoon teaching
• Weekend work
• 2 days off per week
• 22–30 hours per week

Public Schools

• Teach young learners and teenagers
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends off
• 22–30 hours per week

Requirements

To be eligible for the Cambodia TEFL internship, you must:

• Hold a passport from South Africa, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
• Have completed at least a 120-hour TEFL course (included with the internship)
• Be aged 21–40 (exceptions considered case-by-case)
• Be in good health and vaccinated
• Have no criminal record
• Travel alone (single-status visa requirement)
