Case Studies and Reviews

After deciding to make a career change, I reached out to m2r Education, remembering the diverse and interesting international job opportunities they often advertise. With a specific interest in Saudi Arabia, I began exploring roles in management and teaching on their website.
Several intriguing management positions caught my eye, so I submitted my CV to Eleanor for consideration. Within a week, I had applied for three positions, and just days after submitting my application for the third, I was scheduled for an interview.
I couldn’t have imagined a more exciting opportunity than the one I was presented with: managing a team of teachers on a Foundation Programme designed to teach English and basic French to Saudi students in Alula. The project's goal is to prepare students for a two-year program in Culinary Arts, Tourism, or Hospitality, ultimately training local talent to fill key roles such as chefs, hospitality staff, and tourism managers for the five-star hotels situated in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Alula, a stunning desert town in Saudi Arabia. This project is a collaboration between the Colleges of Excellence, the Royal Commission for Alula, and the renowned French culinary school, Ferrandi Paris.
Two months after my interview, I arrived in Alula, and I’m excited to say that my team and I are now ready to begin teaching the scholarship students in the programme. Alula is a truly beautiful town, and I’ve already started enjoying visits to its touristic sites on my weekends.
