Helping a Zimbabwean Teacher achieve her teaching dream

About me
'Hello. I'm Victoria and I'm Zimbabwean. I have a Bachelor of Education (hons) in English. Currently I'm not working.
My passion for teaching started when I was young, I knew I wanted to be a teacher then because I would teach my classmates during lunchtime and after school. Imparting knowledge on the young ones and impacting positively on their life and mine as well is what drove me to want to teach overseas. Moreover I want exposure so that when I come back to my home country I will be able to use what I would have learnt to uplift my local community.'
Why Japan?
'I once tried going to Prague as an ESL teacher and that was when the Covid 19 pandemic broke out. After the pandemic I just told myself that I was trying a different route and Japan was on top of my list. From the background checks I did, I found Japan to be a country with warm and welcoming people who are cultured. That blew my mind off and those were some of the reasons I chose the Japan internship.'
